Musician Description/Promotion (Owen)

Owen is a solo project of Chicago-based indie musician, Mike Kinsella. Mike is best known for his work in the bands Cap’n Jazz, Joan of Arc, Owls and American Football. Although he may be the lesser known of him and his brother Tim, Mike has been impacting music and captivating audiences for years. Owen is known for his soft melodies, complex guitars, plaintive vocals, and various background instruments, all played by Mike. His melodic-progressive acoustics entrance audiences all over the world, lulling them into silence while managing to keep their full attention. His newest album, Ghost Town, displays his musical progression while managing to stay true to his roots. The album will be released in October 2011 and will not disappoint.
